Parading in autumn

We had an exciting event that 31 festival floats paraded in the beautiful autumn trees at Osaka Castle Park.

恒例となった大阪城だんじり祭り。今年は各地から３１台集結。美しい秋の彩りの中を行くのは大東市の灰塚。

Although most modern buildings look dull to me this one in Osaka has some architectural beauty.

Giant Rubber Duck in Osaka

Giant Rubber Duck was created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman to make people recall their childhoods. This duckling has come to Osaka several times.

I was attracted by this neat sign at Nakanoshima Park in Osaka.

こちらは大阪では少し有名な福原ビル。中之島界隈では中々しゃれた看板です。

Europe in Japan

This is a relatively historic European-style building in Osaka which was built in 1926. It's good that this beautiful building has survived.

こちらは大阪中之島近辺でよく目立つ洋風ビル。１９２６年竣工の大林組のビルですが今は 'LE PONT DE CIEL' というしゃれた名前だそうです。
