I'm a dabbling photographer strolling around Osaka and Kyoto with a sense of haiku.
This blog is focusing mostly on Osaka. There's a sibling 'Kyoto Photo Stroll'.

Viewing cherry blossoms
This photo shows people walking to see cherry blossoms in the garden of Osaka Mint which is famous for its vast collection of rare cherry trees.

The last evening
The cherry blossom was glowing at sunset but the solitude on the face showed that it knew it might not have another evening.

Painter of the spring
Cherry blossoms (sakura) can change the cityscape dramatically with a very short time as if they were painters of the spring.

Lady of spring
We are now in the time of cherry blossoms (sakura), which can practically declare the arrival of the spring. This is the first picture of the cherry blossom that I have taken this year and I'd like to call the elegant blossom a lady of spring.

Ready to bloom
This is a picture of two ume buds which looked like sisters discussing when to bloom.
