I'm a dabbling photographer strolling around Osaka and Kyoto with a sense of haiku.
This blog is focusing mostly on Osaka. There's a sibling 'Kyoto Photo Stroll'.

Solitude
This way...
With no one in sight
Autumn is ending
(Haiku by Basho, Translation by me)

Autumn feast
This photo shows autumn momiji leaves, which look as if they were enjoying the last festival.

Lonely girl
Apart from mother tree
With anxiety
Lonely yellow leaf
(Haiku by me)
This picture shows a fallen leaf of a ginkgo tree, which is also called a maidenhair tree. This distinctive leaf is famous for the story that Goethe sent his poem to a woman with two ginkgo leaves.
